The Van Gogh Museum and DHL are extending their partnership. The collaboration brings together DHL’s reliable and sustainable logistics expertise and the Van Gogh Museum’s educational prowess. In the year ahead, DHL Express will continue to handle worldwide delivery of orders from both the online museum shop and the DHL Express Service Point located inside the museum. The partners will also bring schoolchildren closer to the work and life of Vincent van Gogh through the Dutch Van Gogh Goes to School educational programme.

Logistics partner
DHL Express has been the Van Gogh Museum’s official logistics partner since June 2020. Since then, DHL has ensured the sustainable shipping of all webstore orders which are delivered through DHL’s climate neutral GoGreen programme.
All orders are now sent in sustainably produced boxes and envelopes, featuring Van Gogh’s Almond Blossom. DHL couriers are highly visible while making their rounds, due to the remarkable DHL x Van Gogh Museum delivery bikes. Visitors can now have their souvenirs from the Museum Shop shipped worldwide from the DHL Express Service Point in the museum.
Emilie Gordenker, General Director of the Van Gogh Museum:
‘DHL has been connected to the museum for many years. Together, we bring the art of Vincent van Gogh and his life story into people’s homes and into the classroom. It has been a pleasure working together in recent years, and I keenly look forward to the next phase of our partnership.’
Van Gogh Goes to School
DHL and the Van Gogh Museum aim to have a positive social impact on new generations. Through the Heart for Art education programme, DHL and the Van Gogh Museum have reached more than 60,000 children across Europe, the United States and South America over the past three years. In the year ahead, the focus will be on pupils at Dutch schools in designated neighbourhoods.
The Van Gogh Goes to School programme introduces children and young adults to the world of Vincent van Gogh, with the aim of stimulating their creativity. At the same time, the programme creates space to discuss important themes from Van Gogh’s life, such as identity, pursuing individual dreams and dealing with setbacks. DHL will continue to support the Van Gogh Museum’s educational expertise by making Van Gogh Goes to School possible.
Kees de Lange, Managing Director of DHL Express in the Netherlands:
'At DHL Express, we believe in connecting people and cultures, just as the Van Gogh Museum does by making art accessible to the world. Our shared values – innovation, sustainability and a commitment to quality – are what make our partnership so strong. Together, we are delivering not just parcels, but also inspiration and creativity to people around the globe.
