Vincent van Gogh (1853 - 1890), 巴黎, 1886年4月-6月

This little girl made a rather awkward model. Van Gogh painted her in the Paris atelier of Fernand Cormon (1845-1924) while taking painting lessons there for about three months. The same girl can be found in some of his drawings.
He painted her by the method he had learned at the academy. First, he applied a greenish-grey underlayer. Then he covered it with thin layers of paint, going from dark to light. Finally, he added dark accents to the shadows.
