About the exhibition
In the exhibition Yellow. Beyond Van Gogh’s Colour, you will discover what the colour yellow meant to Vincent van Gogh and the artists of his time. Of course, you will see Van Gogh's most famous yellow masterpiece, Sunflowers, but you'll also experience what the colour meant for fashion, music and literature around 1900.
In addition, artist Olafur Eliasson (1967) offers a unique experience of the colour yellow with two immersive light installations.
This original exhibition provides answers to questions such as: what is yellow? How do you experience yellow? How does yellow smell? And you will learn even more during a guided tour!
