About the exhibition
The majority of Van Gogh’s remarkable portraits of the Roulin family will be reunited for the first time in one exhibition: Van Gogh and the Roulins. Together Again at Last.
Van Gogh created this unprecedented series during his stay in Arles (1888–1889), where he developed a close friendship with postman Joseph Roulin and his family. Van Gogh painted each family member several times: father Joseph, mother Augustine, sons Armand and Camille, and baby daughter Marcelle.
The exhibition is on display from 3 October 2025 until 11 January 2026.
