A Van Gogh on the wall unaffordable? Not with this wallpaper range from BN Walls and the Van Gogh Museum. The 2019 collaboration is a continuation of an earlier range, launched in 2015. The 2019 wallpaper range has been inspired by well-known and lesser known artworks by Vincent van Gogh.
The wallpaper range has been produced with love and attention to detail. The kind of craftsmanship that Vincent van Gogh used to create his paintings.
Thanks to the efforts of the BN Walls colour specialists, the colours in the wallpaper exactly match those of the paintings. They just kept on mixing paints until the colours were just right.
Special mills have been developed to make Vincent’s brush strokes not only visible in the wallpaper, but tangible, too. The designers have succeeded in capturing the essence of Van Gogh’s paintings and combine it with current trends. The wallpaper range looks modern and contemporary, and breathes Van Gogh.
The 2019 wallpaper range has been inspired by paintings such as Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman, Landscape with Houses and Ears of Wheat, as well as the world-famous Almond Blossom. The new range is furthermore based on several of Van Gogh’s paintings showing his love for Japanese art, such as Vase with Chinese Asters and Gladioli, Sprig of Flowering Almond in a Glass and Flowering Plum Orchard (after Hiroshige).
