A collaboration bringing together paper art, craftsmanship and Vincent van Gogh’s love of colour in handmade cards that are as meaningful to give as to receive.

Origamo and the Van Gogh Museum share a love of art, imagination and thoughtful craftsmanship. In this collaboration, Origamo reimagines Vincent van Gogh’s work in paper designs that surprise, inspire and invite people to display them at home.
The collection includes three-dimensional paper bouquets, pop-up cards, filigree cards and notebooks. Origamo uses 3D paper engineering, kirigami (the Japanese art of paper cutting and folding) and paper quilling to bring Vincent’s artworks to life.
The cards are packed flat in presentation packaging with an envelope, making them suitable for posting as well as for giving as a gift. As part of this collaboration, Sunflowers was transformed into a 3D paper design for the first time.
The collection features several works by Vincent van Gogh, including Sunflowers, The Bedroom, The Pink Peach Tree, Almond Blossom, Irises, Sprig of Flowering Almond in a Glass and Wheatfield with a Reaper. It also includes a special design created to celebrate the Van Gogh Museum’s 50th anniversary, featuring flowers drawn from Vincent’s paintings in the museum's collection.
Origamo is a brand from Piedmont that creates and sells original paper greeting cards. Each card is entirely handmade by skilled Vietnamese artisans and takes more than an hour to make. Origamo uses FSC-certified paper made in Italy and has introduced patented plastic-free packaging. With the Van Gogh collection, Origamo became the museum’s official supplier and holds exclusive worldwide distribution rights for the collection.
