About the collection
The collection features hand-decorated Italian ceramics and majolica, a type of earthenware with coloured decorations on an opaque white tin glaze base. Technicians, graphic designers and master decorators spent three years developing the first prototypes, meticulously reinterpreting Van Gogh’s paintings through glazes, colours and decorative details.
The collection draws inspiration from works including Almond Blossom, Sunflowers, Flowering Plum Orchard, Irises and Self-Portrait with Straw Hat. Each of these iconic masterpieces reflects Van Gogh’s close connection to nature – a theme that also lies at the heart of this collection.
