About the collections
Building on the first chapter of the collaboration, the second release continues to showcase two of Van Gogh’s most beloved masterpieces: Sunflowers (1889) and Almond Blossom (1890). Expanding the collection beyond apparel, this latest installment introduces special editions of BAPE®︎’s iconic BAPE STA™ sneakers and two BE@RBRICK 100% & 400% collectible sets, each presented in designs inspired by these celebrated works.
The BAPE STA™ is offered in two distinct versions inspired by Sunflowers and Almond Blossom. Each style features the respective artwork across the outer upper, while the inner side incorporates the exclusive “OIL PAINTING CAMO” pattern. Co-branded BAPE®︎ × Van Gogh Museum logos are applied to the heel, creating a unique design that seamlessly bridges contemporary streetwear and fine art.
The BE@RBRICK carries forward the design language introduced in the first release’s SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIE. The right side features the artwork, while the left side showcases the “OIL PAINTING CAMO” pattern, translating Van Gogh’s distinctive color palette and brushwork into a three-dimensional form. Blending art, toy culture, and street fashion, the collectible is offered as a set including both 100% and 400% versions.
The first collection, launched in 2025, drew inspiration from Van Gogh’s masterpieces: Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat (1887), Flowering Plum Orchard (1887), The Yellow House (1888), Sunflowers (1889), Almond Blossom (1890) and Wheatfield with Crows (1890). Each artwork marked a turning point in Van Gogh’s life. The designs also incorporated excerpts from his heartfelt letters to his brother Theo, Vincent’s closest confidant and lifelong supporter.
The featured line-up included T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, crewneck sweatshirts and SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIES, each using BAPE®︎’s iconic APE HEAD as a canvas that seamlessly merged with six of Van Gogh’s masterpieces.
The collection also featured a unique camouflage pattern, ‘OIL PAINTING CAMO’, inspired by the colour schemes of Sunflowers and Almond Blossom.
The BABY MILO® TEE showcased the beloved BABY MILO®︎ character alongside Sunflowers, rendered in Milo’s distinctive style.
