About the collection
The collection draws inspiration from Van Gogh’s masterpieces – Self-Portrait with Grey Felt Hat (1887), Flowering Plum Orchard (1887), The Yellow House (1888), Sunflowers (1889), Almond Blossom (1890) and Wheatfield with Crows (1890). Each of these artworks marks a turning point in Van Gogh’s life. The designs also incorporate excerpts from his heartfelt letters to his brother Theo, Vincent's closest confidant and lifelong supporter.
The featured line-up included T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, crewneck sweatshirts and SHARK FULL ZIP HOODIES, each using BAPE®︎’s iconic APE HEAD as a canvas that seamlessly merges with Van Gogh's six masterpieces.
Also featured is a unique camouflage pattern, ‘OIL PAINTING CAMO’, inspired by the colour schemes of Sunflowers and Almond Blossom.
The BABY MILO® TEE showcases the beloved BABY MILO®︎ character alongside Sunflowers rendered in Milo's distinctive style.
