Why did Vincent van Gogh and his contemporaries Bernard, Seurat, Signac and Angrand so enjoy painting on the banks of the Seine outside of Paris? The area was a blend of nature, recreation and industry, and inspired them to experiment with their painting styles.

Join on the day guided tours
If you prefer not to book in advance, we also offer guided tours of the exhibition that you can decide to join on the day.
It is not possible to reserve a place on these guided tours in advance of your visit. Once you are at the museum, please check availability at the Information Desk in the Atrium. Please note that other visitors may join the guided tour.
- When: every Wednesday at 1 pm, Friday at 3:30 pm, Saturday at 12 pm and Sunday at 1:30 pm.
- Duration: 50 minutes.
- Number of visitors per guided tour: max. 12.
- Price: € 5 per visitor, payable by bank card or mobile device at the Information Desk in the Atrium. Cash payments will not be accepted.
