About the exhibition
The exhibition Choosing Vincent. Portrait of a Family History pays tribute to the Van Gogh family, which has not received the attention it deserves.
Choosing Vincent* brings to life their personal story of doubt, setbacks, pride and triumph. A story punctuated with dilemmas, seen through the eyes of Vincent, Theo, Jo and Vincent Willem (‘The Engineer’). The many masterpieces and lesser-known gems in the exhibition reveal how what started as a family inheritance grew to become a world-famous collection.
The exhibition is on view from 10 February until 10 April 2023.
