On Friday, 2 June 2023, the museum's 50th anniversary will be celebrated with the Sunflower Art Festival on Museumplein, and a special edition of Vincent on Friday in the evening. At 11 pm, the day will be festively concluded with a special performance made by Studio DRIFT, in which 200 drones bring Van Gogh's work to life in the air.
