Life according to Kandinsky

friday night: Life From 18.30
'Life' is a responsive painting that creates a landscape on the basis of live images of the space in which it has been placed. Changes in this image of the space are reflected in the painting, so generating a continually changing background. The world is inhabited by virtual organisms, and through simulated natural selection only the strongest organisms will survive in this continually changing environment. The resultant image is an abstract work of art, inspired visually by the great Russian painter Wassily Kandinsky.
