Museum café

interior Museumcafé, furniture by Piet Hein Eek The interior of the museum café has recently been refurbished. The interior design is by Erjan Borren. The wooden tables and chairs are designed by the well-known Dutch artist Piet Hein Eek, the linoleum floor is designed by Claudy Jongstra and flower decoration by Menno Kroon. In these stylish and relaxed surroundings visitors can enjoy a range of snacks, treats and drinks or a simple and satisfying lunch. The café offers a wonderful view of the titanium facade of the museum's exhibition wing.

Martien van Goor

Martien van Goor (born 1944) was responsible for the renovation and expansion not only of the Van Gogh Museum but also of the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden.
