Friday night

On Friday nights the Van Gogh Museum is open until 10 pm and there’s always something special going on. Every Friday night, lounge chairs, video projections, live music, DJs and a bar transform the museum’s central hall into a relaxed place to meet.

Please note: the Friday night programme is subject to modifications.

DJ x-0-x

From 6:30 pm

As part of the exhibition Beauty in abundance DJ x-0-x (Arjan van Sorge) this time plays a combination of pop/rock and classical music. Since the 60ies it was tried to mix these different and apparently contradictory musical styles, with often astonishing results. So, plenty of listening adventure and sonic assistance for this exhibition with a.o. Ekseption, The Swingle Singers and Emerson, Lake & Palmer, but also by Bob Fosko, Hoppy Kamiyama and Clazz Ensemble.
Also very inspiring is the set of the 12-year-old DJ's & Mariah Mirl, who share and combine a passion for the Beatles and vinyl and will play another much anticipated and thrilling hour Fab Four.
